Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry for not updating in so long, just busy. But things seem to be settling down a bit so I can get back back into the swing of art producing! Hope everyone looks forward to it! ^_^

Stormy Seas Ahead!

So I finally got stuff down to a schedule with the kids, baby, and hubby, to where I can finally start to get back to art. (Oh how I've missed drawing!)
HOWEVER, our landlord has seen that it would please him to raise the rent. Which wouldn't normally be an issue. He wants to raise the rent from $800 to $1200. Now that is an issue. Since hubby got his new job back at the beginning of the year, it's been kinda rough >.< I'll spare the details, and give bare bones for now. He wasn't considered a full employee until earlier this month, which meant a pay cut. (Floaters, which he was, got more money because of unstable hours) So in short, we couldn't really afford the rent as it was.
So, the conclusion, either find a new job or move. Well, we've tried finding a new one, or even a second one to no avail. Which leaves us to move. Apparently, our rent was fantastically cheap for the this area, and no one is renting for that cheap anymore. So, option 3 comes into play, move in with family, which is 3 hours away. That comes with a lot of other issues, but unless hubby gets a better job, we have to go.
We are trying to get the move completed before the kids start school, which is Aug 13. Until then, I am spending what little free time I have to finish a coloring commission and one other for fun work. I know I will get at least one done!

Baby is here!

So on March 2nd I had our baby girl Gabrielle! ^_^ We are home now and getting adjusted to having her with us. She was actually born 2 days before my hubby's birthday. Lol. I should be able to get back to drawing soon. We are currently in the process of moving the kids into their new room and hubby is getting used to his new job. Unfortunately, his job has him working all shifts. He is on call, and part time. So things are still pretty hectic around here. When I get some more consistent sleep I will try getting some drawings up. They will probably just be sketches though. I guess at this point anything is fine. lol.

I know that I have not been very active the last several months. A lot of things have happened to my family -_-. At least its not all bad, lol. My hubby's computer completely stopped working, which means that he has been using mine more often. lol. Hubby is also looking for a new job, his contract ended with his employer and they can't renew until March. Which sucks a whole lot. >.< We were trying to get a house... until his job ended 3 days before closing... *shakes fist* Stupid delays! We WERE pretty sure that his employer could find another spot for him, but that obviously didn't happen. On top of all that mess, I've been sick on and off for the past several months and haven't really been able to do much. There were some problems at the kids' school as well. My kids haven't been bad or anything, just other kids bringing illness to school, and then my kids catching it. Again and again...
OK... now that I have all the bad stuff out of the way. I do have some awesome news!
We are expecting another baby!!!! YAY! We are so excited! I was planning on telling everyone through a sketch that I have been working on, but ... I haven't been feeling well enough to work on it. Luckily, I am past all the morning sickness now and just dealing with everything else that comes with being pregnant. I am hoping to get back to working on artwork soon. Hubby has been using the computer to look for jobs and work on his resume' a lot, and that is very needed. So we will see what happens.
On another side note, Halloween was a blast! The kids got about 15 lbs of candy! My oldest was a vampire and my youngest a fairy. Even though it was raining for the first half of the trick-or-treat time, we just waited until the rain stopped and had a good 3 hours to go around. Someone was giving out cans of Sunkist! Pretty awesome! Hubby and I didn't dress up this year. Our vampire fangs that we normally have broke so we just passed on it this year.

1. What's your favorite animal? C:Well, that is kind of a hard choice for me. I love lots of animals, but over all the wolf is my favorite.

7. Can you legit see me somehow-over-the-rainbow taking over the Munto fandom--as in, with KyotoAni? (If only. *sob*)... I don't know who KyotoAni is!!! Whenever I think of Munto fanart I think of you, so in my mind you've already taken over the fandom.
